Before I was diagnosed with breast cancer I worked in retail and NEVER shopped online, because I was too chicken to use my credit card on the internet and I believed it hurt the retail sector. Ha, how times change, these days i collborate with online labels every single day and not only do I shop on the internet I work on the internet!
Truth is it’s modern day, we are ALL online, our shopping habits have changed and one or two of us might like shopping in our pyjamas just a little too much. Hands up if that’s you 🙂
I’ve written about online shopping tips before, now here’s a Curvy girls shopping guide, little list of some stores where you definitely can get sizes that love curves. It’s not every brand available but it’s a solid guide, add your own favourites to the comments to help a sista out.
Some are Aussie, some offshore, some online and some storefront. Remember when I said our shopping habits have changed? Yeah, that.
A few tips before you start
If shopping on overseas sites be aware of size guides and shipping costs…always check the fine print. Remember too that some won’t ship to Australia but if you ‘just gotta have it’, then there’s a site to help a curvy girl out. HopShopGo is a site where you can have your parcels delivered to and they then send them on to you, like a middle man. You do need to register and you will need to pay a little extra but it’s worth it for that extra special piece. ok let’s do this, let’s shop the curvy girls shopping guide. Oh and when you see a word highlighted in the teal colour that means the links are embedded, just click on it and you go straight to the site. It’s the magic of the internet 🙂
