I’m in an Autumn/Winter state of mind. Recently the calendar clicked over to March signifying Autumn and I got a little giddy at the thought of cooler days, because…layering and winter fashion are two of my favourite things.
Wanna know another favourite? New season ‘look books’, that moment a look book lands in my inbox and I get a front row seat to new season fashion right here on my screen.
Like the latest look book from ‘HARLOW‘.
I did happen to have a sneaky peek at the coming collection from HARLOW a few weeks ago, right here in Adelaide when Kerry and Angelo hosted a little media only preview. The night involved awesome people, tasty treats and fierce fashion. Uhuh, Kerry nailed it again!
But what will you see? Is there really something in the collection for you?
Of course 🙂
There’s black…derrr, an edgy monochromatic palette and exciting trims in the new season collection. There’s not one but three choices for denim including a ‘flirty Farah’ pair that is an ode to the 70’s when women wore pants and fierce hair flicks and had bucket loads of sass.
This collection is for ‘every’ woman, (sized 12-24) we all deserve fashion and style to reflect our personality, and with limited quantities you won’t be seeing yourself around every corner.
Quality pieces to see you through many seasons, pieces you will wear like an old friend who supports you and helps you to shine bright year after year.
The focus is on fit, silhouette, texture and detailing…because style is much more than a basic piece.
Harlow pieces are designed to be worn multiple ways, creating different looks and streamlining your wardrobe. With great dollar per wear and options you get more.
More bang for your buck and more outfit options…thanks HARLOW?
Here’s the twist..for the first time ever HARLOW are having multiple capsule releases, uhuh, the team will be keeping some goodies up their stylish sleeves with several capsule drops over the AW16 period.
Personally I love this idea, it allows us time to build our wardrobe while working out what we need. It also gives us time to save our dollars ready for the new collection.
So what will you find in the first drop? Well it’s ‘into the Wild’, a collection where you’ll find monochrome and animal print, I’m excited already!
The ‘Dreammaker’ sweater dress is back (insert jazz hands) along with the bestselling ‘Diva’ oversized top. Both of these are perfect teamed with tights and boots for an easy ‘no brainer’ outfit, add your stamp with statement jewellery and you’re ready in a jiffy.
Another exciting piece is the new 70’s style ‘LA Woman’ blouse. With an asymmetrical hem, slight bell sleeve and removable neck tie (very on trend this season) it will walk out the door. Try tying the necktie loosely around the waist, wrapped around the neck or even as a headscarf ? Wear the ‘LA Woman’ blouse with jeans, dressy black pants or even over a straight skirt with ankle boots.
Ladies, take a look and make your list, a word of advice though…if you love an item then get in quick because there’s limited quantities. You snooze, you lose.
Me? I have my eye on a dress in a drop to come later in the season and I think I need the tees in black, white and charcoal marle (great basics), the LA woman blouse and of course give me a sweater dress and I’m like a pig in mud…happy!
Tell me what you love
till next time,

I had the Farrah flick in the 70s, and her shampoo and conditioner. Sass maybe not so much. Much sassier in my 50’s than in my teens. Love all these items 🙂
