Spring has sprung! Did you get the memo? I’m pretty sure Mother nature is still off her freakin chops confused but I’m embracing spring styles and enjoying every crack of sunshine I can savour. There’s plenty of new goodness in my spring wardrobe including new styles from Frankie4 Footwear.
I got a sneaky peek at the new season styles a few months back and have been busting to share with you…because it’s the best collection yet! Yeah, big call I know but i speak the truth. There really is something for everyone and let’s remember the whole collection hasn’t been released yet. Brace yourself ladies 🙂
Why I love Frankie4 Footwear and how you can share the love.
I’ve been collaborating with Frankie4 since last summer and I have been tickled pink at how the Styling Curvy community has embraced them too, so I have created a special hashtag to use on Instagram. When you share a photo on Instagram and you are wearing your Frankie4 shoes then add the hashtag #howiworemyfrankie4. If we all do this then when you search the hashtag you will see a virtual photo album showing you how the ladies styled their Frankie4 shoes. This is fun but also offers some styling inspiration…win-win. Check out the hashtag and album HERE
OK, should we take a look at how I’ve been wearing my frankie4? I gotta say it’s hard to get them off my feet and I have been busy in my frankie4, they have been interstate with me and even overseas!
Here’s how I’ve been wearing my Frankie4 Footwear.
Yes, late August I took a trip to Bali with eleven of my readers and packed the brand new Hilary in champagne and Maddie in spot. Although Bali has uneven sidewalk the Hilary and Maddie coped well and my feet were feeling fresh at the end of each day. I’m not one for thongs (on my arse or my feet) as I tend to grip with my toes and get terrible leg and foot pain but the Hilary gets my tick of approval. So do a few other styles 🙂
HILARY
The Hilary footbed is designed by a podiatrist and has all the frankie4 features we have come to love (and need). It has a comfy arch support plus heel support too. The latex layer on top is for extra cushioning and comfort. Overall the Hilary is a sleek cork slide with a leather lined upper that ticks summer style boxes. If you have a wide foot this style may not be for you. I have the Hilary in champagne and black but she is also available in silver and snake.
ALANA
The Alana IN BLUSH is a spunky heel bursting with style and femininity. Perfect for event dressing or parties she will add that WOW factor to your styling. With buttery soft leather, minimalist toe strap and long ankle straps that can be wrapped and tied to ‘custom fit’ your style and ankle size. Even though she has an 8cm heel she also boasts built in triple-density functional footbed, arch support and heel support to keep you dancing until after midnight. Oh, she’s available in black too, have fun choosing which colour you need!
SARA
I don’t wanna have favourites…but I do, and it’s the SARA in tan. From the moment I clapped eyes on her it was a love fest. She’s a boho babe with plaited leather strap and buckle closure. The Sara is a mid heel height at 6.5cm so she can be worn all day long, team her with a maxi and add a hair braid and you are ready for whatever summer throws at you. She looks just at home with a kaftan or denim jeans, your perfect tan heel for Summer (available in black too).
ALYCE
A wedge has long been my heel of choice, the surface area spreads my weight more evenly on my feet and let’s face it, a wedge just never goes out of style. The Alyce in navy has a sisal covered heel with a nod to espradrille styling but is in an 8cm heel with a 2cm forefoot platform so she’s comfy. I have her in navy, a fab colour for the warmer months but she is also available in tan or black. Personally I’m not sure a wide foot is suited to this style or a wide ankle, I found the ankle strap could have done with a little more length.
MADDIE
Maddie in spot has become my go to flat, she’s comfy, stylish and has loads of personality. The leather strap is so buttery soft and has a velcro closure for ease of fit plus a buckle just for looks. The black and white in the Maddie means she will work hard as you can team her with light or dark garments plus play with juxtaposing the print against colour and print in your clothes. Maddie is also available in tan and of course comes with the heel, and arch support plus forefront cushioning Frankie4 are known for. Wear Maddie with shorts, loose casual pants, a skirt or maxi dress.

Post brought to you by Frankie4 and features items sent to me for editorial consideration in line with my Disclosure policy.
Just received Alana in blush and Donna in black. I wish spring would come to Melbourne so I can get them on my feet!! Do you think Alana would go with a black dress with white spots for the races?? Xx
Hi Lisa, both fabulous choices. I think give the Alana a go, she is enough of a neutral that it might work. Otherwise the Alana comes in black too…just sayin 🙂
I thank you everyday for introducing me to frankie4 . THANK YOU X
You are so welcome x
You look fantastic. What a great spring wardrobe.
I do like the look of the Sara for spring / summer – they look like they could be dressed up or down and super comfortable to boot. Or should that be, to sensible mid heel.
