How to Wear Boho
Boho is a style that I love. It’s swishy, comfortable and cool. You don’t have to feel like an aging hippie to pull this look off. Take on board these tips on how to wear this style with the latest Neon Cherry collection ‘Eden’ & you’ll be rocking that boho babe vibe in no time!
Free & Flowy Styles
It’s all about a relaxed look. Loose pieces that look and actually are comfortable. Long hemlines, plenty of movement & flow. Soft fabrics that move with you. This Eden collection features cotton and linen for comfort over the Summer months and I have played with hemlines and border prints, the little details make the big difference.
Quality & Fit
Avoid the market style boho look by investing in quality pieces that will hold their shape & colour over time. A great fit is always worth the investment. Pull ties & elastic that creates just the right shape for you is a great start. Boho can still have some structure to give you a great silhouette, it does’t all need to be baggy or boxy.
Prints, Patterns & details
Boho babes love pattern & prints – have fun with it! Florals, checks, don’t be afraid to clash your patterns, or double up & create a head to toe look with just one print. Whimsy and retro vibes are what remind me of boho, I mean I am a child of the 70’s so anything with buttons, shirring or smocking is a winner for me. I am also a fan of a tiered or ruffled hem on a skirt or dress.
Layers
A denim or a leather jacket work perfectly over anything boho. The more lengths you can create the better! Add vests, shirts & scarves. Layer up your necklaces, belts or bracelets too! If the full boho vibe feels ‘too much’ then start slowly and add one or two pieces until you get a little braver. Layer a block colour with a boho piece or just work with accessories, you choose.
Accessories
Introduce some natural elements into your accessories. Suede boots, embellished leather slides, silver bracelets, or a woven basket will all add to your boho look! Fringing on bags, beads & lots of silver & gold will complete the vibe.
Fabric
Boho loves those natural elements. Use denim & block colours as base players. Easy to dress up for a lunch date or keep it casual for family fun.
How do you feel about boho? I hope my tips have helped you embrace your inner goddess a little more!
