It’s Thursday which means I’m off to my volunteer job with The Hospital Research Foundation…which means office wear.
Ummm, hello…I’m just a touch blonder! Had a session at the hairdresser yesterday and I’m feeling fierce 🙂
Well you all know I don’t do typical office wear…right?
I can’t tell you how much I love the new Harlow ‘dream maker’ sweater dress. It’s comfy and flattering and just warm enough not to mess with my hot flushes…oh and I am a total fan of some 80’s influence.
A pair of footless tights are essential in the cooler months and when teamed with ballet flats and a skirt they make for warm office attire. Add a long line vest for some back warmth and my outfit is done. This vest is about 4 years old, it was an investment piece at the time (expensive) but I adore the features and it’s still working hard for me years later 🙂
When I’m wearing this much black the perfect accessory is a red lip! I love ‘Ruby Woo’ by MAC. Do you have a favourite red lippy? Share it with me in the comment section below (please), because it helps a sista out.
What do you think of my Harlow *multi strand necklace? I know right…Harlow are now doing jewellery and accessories to team back with their pieces. It’s simple and delicate but just the right amount of bling (and gold) to pick up on my leopard print shoes with gold buckle. It’s actually a lariatt but I’ve tied it to create a long tassle effect.
It’s been a busy day, which is great because it’s freezing here today and I think if I sat still too long I may not get moving again.  If you love the sweater dress in grey and love black then ‘bingo” the new black sweater dress is released today! I’ll pop the links below 🙂
How do you go dressing for the office in winter? Are you a pants or skirt girl? Or are you a pants and skirt girl…like me?
Til next time,
Jen x

Love the MAC Ruby Woo- it’s my fave colour!
Love that Erin!!
Hi, I just arrived via Erinmadethis. The sweater dress looks tremendous on you, especially with the cute flats. I am the opposite colouring to you, having brown eyes, dark hair and fair-ish skin, my favorite lip colour is almost a signature – Revlon ‘really red’ – it’s aptly named. It’s not orangey-red or pinkish-red; instead red-red. I also like Mac ‘ladybug’ .
Hi Jeanette (waves), welcome! The sweater dress is a firm favorite, so easy to pop on and get out the door in style. I know the Revlon ‘really red’…great red
