It’s been a couple of months since I have trained with my trainer, I miss her and I miss training. I miss exercise! My body has been in a state of revolt for a few months, on strike if you like. There is adrenal fatigue and a few other crappy shituations and the doctors are working on it. The doctors can only do so much though and I still feel crappy so something had to change.
Moving my body differently.
I can’t do my personal training because, FATIGUE so I have recently enrolled in pilates with a physio, in fact I am there today. It’s only early days so not much to report, only that I am proud of myself for walking in the door, making enquiries AND for signing up.
Here’s another thing I am doing, water walking! It’s literally walking in the water at the beach, no biggie. I can change up the intensity by wading deeper so I work out harder all while buoyed by the water.
The water is THIS cold
The beach is my happy place so this little spot of exercise is really a therapy for the mind and body. I’m starting off small, just fifteen minutes in the sun and water. Of course it’s important to remember to slip slop and slap, sun safe always and of course wearing a cute cossie like this Boho Twist Front Bandeau sure helps a gal feel confident.
Makes me wanna jump for joy
and kick my legs…
It’s not easy to make time to exercise, especially when I own my own business. Everything else seems to take precedence, those emails and this content creation seems to be more important than me…except it isn’t. So I am making time. We all have fifteen minutes, right? Sometimes you gotta turn your back on the world and take time for you!
Of course the pilates is forty five minutes plus a five minute walk from home but it’s only twice a week…and I’m worth it.
Remember, YOU’RE worth it too. How are you doing lately? Has the year caught up with you, feeling fatigued too? Well I would love to help get you back in the water.

I would love the Mosaic zip front one piece.
I’ve had my eye on this one for a while a whole lot of sunshine in one piece
Navy and white polka dot in boyleg would be my choice please ????♀️??♀️
Hey Jen
I’ve had my eye on the 3 tier garden party swimsuit for ages hoping it will be on sale at some stage. It’s so pretty and cheerful and not black for a change! Love the idea of the frills at the front and the structured fabric to suck me in!!
Hi Jen this is a great collectio. But what my girls would need would be Night Blossom Frilled Bikini Top Swimwear and pants. It would keep them in the right place and also I love the frill. It would also help me feel confident on the beach which is also my happy place. Thanks for this chance.
I would like the Capriosca ‘Graphic Floral Underwire Swim Dress Swimwear’ – patterned at the top and black at the bottom. Love it.
I love the Havano twist front Bandeau and the Iris Placement underwire Bandeau 🙂
So many beautiful togs (yes qlder) the Iris the inca or the peacock feather? Would have to say the Peacock feather one piece is just devine so that is my favourite ???
The Peach Blossom Over The Shoulder is beautiful – such a pretty pattern and not black! With summer almost here and two active kids who love the beach, I would love a cossie that would give me a bit more confidence to splash about and build sandcastles, and know I look great and my boobs aren’t going anywhere!
Time for ‘me’ is a distant memory and a much anticipated future event. My mum is really sick and you know how it is ‘you just do it’. I know when the time comes I’m going to implode or explode or something but for now I’m just trying to breathe in the quiet moments and accept the love and support that’s offered. Your blogs always seem directed straight to my soul when I need them most Jen. ?
I love the cossie you have on.
Would love the 1 you have on Jen. I saw it on the website but it’s great to see it on you as we have similar body types. Looks fantastic!
Hey Jen I love the Tiffany retro it looks so good old style which I like and the colour is great
So many beautiful styles. I really struggle to find suitable stylish swimwear after my double mastectomy five years ago – it was good to see a few options with mastectomy pouches. Though I don’t wear them often.
I love this one – Chlorine Resistant Zig Zag Panelled One Piece.
Oh Jenny I love the long sleeved styling graphic one – I’m a redhead with pesky melonomas and sick of wearing long sleeved t-shirts at the beach!
Wow I’ve never seen so many gorgeous curvy sizes swimmers before, they certainly have a great collection for the plus sized figure. Loving the Night Blossom Over the Shoulder One Piece Swimwear ?
The Night over the shoulder one piece cosi is gorgeous Jenni. If I’m lucky enough to win size 20 please. ?
There are just so many to choose from but I think I like the elegant & classic Black Zip Front One Piece with Frill Sleeve. Sexy and sun smart. 🙂
Hi Jen I would love the Classic zip front one piece. Would be perfect for my water aerobics class to keep the girls in. ?
I love the one you are wearing Jen! Gorgeous colour! I too need to get my toes wet in the ocean x
I love that Curvy Swimwear have a mastectomy range!
I can’t go past a chic black one piece, so the Black Twist Bandeau would be my pick.
I bought the jophur paisley flouncy one piece last year and live in it. I’ve had so many compliments about it. So is it bad to get the same one again? ? Any way I’ve been eyeing off the garden party 3 tier one piece, I love the print and the ruffles. Thanks for the discount code off to stock up on some new bathers
I’ve just been diagnosed with severe sleep apnoea which explains a lot of my health issues recently. When I start my treatment I hope to get back to being an energetic mum and challenge my 14 year old son to some handball. I like the idea of the lovely designs of the swim dresses.
Beach is definitely a great place to clear the mind and soothe the soul!
Curvy Swimwear have so many wonderful options for curvy gals and I think the Tropics Twist Front Bandeau one piece would go alright. (No tan lines on the shoulders ?) ?
Hey Jen, great post today. You are ao worth it, just do what you can do. xx I would LOVE the Boho Folk Full Length Wetshirt / Rash Vest Swimwear. Perfect for at the beach or in the pool! The kids both wear their rashies reluctantly, its always easier when I lead by example. xx
I love the Naby and white dots wide strap swim dress. I’d feel the most confident in that one. What a wonderful range they have. Thanks Jenni!
Hey Jenni ?
I haven’t worn swimwear for the last few years…. But super love the night blossom bikini…. It’s high waisted and would cover all of my scars from reconstruction and is also so girly and cute…. I’m actually not normally very girly but really love this design and fabric….and it’s about time I lead from your example and get back into the ocean.
Thanks
Amy
Xo
Love this print on you Jen! I’d love to win the Boho Folk Underwire Tankini Top, it’s been over 15 years since I wore swimwear and I’m determined to swim with the kids this summer!
Oh wow.. so many gorgeous swim suits.. the black zip front one piece with frill sleeves really caught my eye though.. my choice if I was lucky enough to win
The Havano twist front bandeau would be my choice. I’ve always wanted strapless swimmers but my odd body shape means that they are baggy on the top and cutting off the circulation in my legs! These look gorgeous <3
Hi Jen, love the Garden Party 3 Tier One Piece, with the pretty blue background and the darker pink roses – it’s low enough to show my bust, and high enough to lengthen my legs without showing too much cellulite. Love the frills, they will distract from my tummy. It will be good to gently get back in the water again, as I too suffer from fatigue.
Go well, Jen x
The Mosaic Wetshirt Swimwear is amazing. It would give me the same protection as my little ladies while we’re building sandcastles and making memories. Enjoy the water walking, hope it helps lift your spirits and help shake off the funk.
Love the Jodhpur Paisley Bikini, such lovely colours would go with everything! You look lovely Jenni an inspiration to us all 🙂
Hi Jenni, I recently bought the grill sleeve zip front swimmers in navy. The folklore is pretty too. I love them which is a big thing for me to say about togs. This body might hit the beach this summer.
Ohh love the swimmies … swimmers for me must have good support and not make me look like my gran, I love bikinis when we are away, but have a school excursion to a water park and love the look of the tankinis Red Tankini with Bow or Graphic Floral Side Ruched Tankini.. would be a lovely early chrissie/bday pressie
Garden party is sooo my colours… i live on the sunshine coast but avoid the beach as my bodyimage is not the best. But i AM trying to EMBRACE it .. its a stuggle but im determined to learn self love… at 57 ive spent a long time on self loathing. .TIME TO EMBRACE !!??
Those bathers look amazing, I LOVE the print and the shape! And they look secure enough not to fall down – winning!!
Wow! Jen you look great! Looked at ALL the togs – spoilt for choice – I love so many but would say the Night Blossom One Piece is for me 🙂
Boho Folk Underwire One Piece. Something that’s not black! All I wear is black! These look absolutely gorgeous! Thanks Jen! Good job on your exercise adventure, I hope you’re feeling better soon. Cheerio!
There are 4 swimsuits that I love on the website ……. Already had them written trying to decide which I liked best. So my choice would be wither the Butterfly V Neck tankini or the Navy & white polka dots underwire tankini. The water walking sounds good, will have to look in to it myself.?
I have been eyeing off this Boho Twist Front Bandeau since it came onto the website – normally a tankini girl but loved everything about this swimsuit . I am similar colouring and shape as you and I now know it would be perfect 🙂
Would love the Blue Iris Twist Front Bandeau One Piece as it’s a beautiful colour and it would be something different for me to wear. Would surprise my husband and daughter even to see me go
swiming with them.
I would love the night blossom bikini top and bottom trying to try something very different with the 2 piece steeping our off the box as they say.xx
I haven’t worn a bikini outside my backyard since high school (which was a long time ago) but I think I would be comfortable enough in the NIght Blossom Frilled Bikini to dig my toes into the sand wearing it.
Hey Jen
Thanks for a peek inside this great collection. I often find it hard to find cossies to suit my bust. So many just flatten it in a very unflattering manner! These look great.
I’d love the Chlorine Resistant Zig Zag Panelled One Piece.
If I’m really game I’ll go for the Mosaic Underwire Bikini Top Swimwear.
I am so in love with the Night Blossom Over the Shoulder One Piece. You are inspiring and giving me the confidence to wear swimmers on the beach this Christmas without board shorts!!
Bohemian Luxe Underwire One Piece
Starting a hydrotherapy class on Monday to ease my bulging disks and might just be able to fool myself I’m doing the class in a gorgeous resort pool in Bali: ?
Bohemian Luxe Underwire One Piece are the perfect bathers for that tropical resort holiday feel!
Of course in reality I’m in a pool with 9 ladies over 65 but wearing those bathers id feel like I’m in paradise! ?????
