I’ve been road testing a new swimsuit given to me by the kind folk at Curvy Swimwear and I gotta tell you I am loving this summer! The reason?…I’m feeling super confident on the beach in comfortable and gorgeous swimwear. It makes a difference when you know you are lifted, sucked and covered in all the right places and still looking stylish. No more worrying about your bod, just relax and enjoy the sand and water.
For all you lovers of a black cossie you will love this black metallic *‘Over the shoulder one piece swimsuit’. It features moulded cups and a band of support that sits behind the feature front. Sliding gold rings look luxe and are adjustable allowing you to change the look and coverage of the bust. Once again adjustable straps allow you to personalise the fit of your cossie, so if you are taller there’s no more camel toe 🙂
I’m a fan of some ruching in all the right places and this cossie has the perfect amount across the tummy area which is perfect considering all my festive season over indulging. Subtle design features can make a world of difference to how you look and feel and this suit ticks a lot of boxes
I was a bit hesitant to try a black suit as I’m loving colour and print so much but chose it as the bust features intrigued me. Well I’m pleased I did and now know why a black cossie will always have a place in beach chic…it’s a classic that when teamed with great design features will serve you well time and again. Check out how my *Bloxsun UPF sarong/scarf pops against the black, wearing a print sarong brings some colour and personality to my look 🙂
If you’re feeling game you can wear this cossie with your fave jeans over the top, add a cape and some wedges and you are good to go for some after beach cocktails. The subtle shimmer, gold rings and feature bust line makes this suit a perfect ‘double duty’ piece.
When was the last time you purchased a new swimsuit?
Til next time,
Jen x

What a lovely swimsuit Jen. I am a fan of black, bought a black and white tankini for our last hols. I like a bit of gold with black too, Would make a lovely neckline for a maxi wouldn’t it! Kathryn x
I have a maxi with a similar neckline Kathryn…must dig it out x
Jenni you look all kinds of awesome in this swimsuit.
I still wear a bikini most of the time but I’ve just been sent a couple of swimsuits to try from Capriosca. So I’m super excited to style them on the blog xxx
Ohhh that’s exciting Bev, I love their cossies and am an SA brand ambassador for Capriosca. I’m sure you will rock them x
I really splurged (and I mean really!!) when we were in Broome 5 years ago. We’d been camping rough for about two weeks when we landed in the oasis that is Broome. They had a shop that had THE best selection of swimwear I’ve ever seen.Lots of ranges with different options for tops and bottoms that coordinated.I settled on a pair of Jets bikinis.I hadn’t bought new bathers for ever during producing three babies…so felt I deserved them….also got a gorgeous white over shirt too…..didn’t tell my ‘mister’, how much I spent but.LOL!!!!
They were worth it though because I take good care of them and I am still wearing them!!
That’s so awesome Samantha! We deserve to treat ourselves and you’re right we treat those ‘extra special’ pieces a little better making them last even longer. Hey good on you for wearing a bikini after 3 bubs!! X
