Once upon a time, pyjamas were practical. They were for sleeping in, and unless you were under 7 years of age and bundled up in the car to pick someone up from the airport after dinnertime or something similar, they weren’t something you wanted to be seen in outside the house!
Pyjamas have morphed into something entirely different lately. We now have “Sleepwear”. Pj’s are not boring! They’re mix & match. They’re in fabrics that breathe & feel gorgeous on your skin. They are short, they are long & they are everything in between!
And now we can also throw into the mix “Loungewear”. A fancy word for pyjamas you don’t feel silly leaving the house in! Cosy & comfortable leggings, drop crotch & trackie pants, t-shirt tops, warm wraps, & cardigans that look just as great on the couch as they do ducking out to grab some milk from the deli on a Sunday morning.
With so much choice, there’s something for everyone. I’ve put together a few bits & pieces that cover the entire Pyjama Party Edit!

Don’t judge me but I don’t own a dressing gown!! I know strange right. I wear a hoodie with my pjs that’s my wear.
I bought those Romantic satin PA plus size pjs in short sleeves for my ‘holiday pyjamas’ … otherwise at home I just wear the man’s T-shirt and undies!!! I am obsessed with fancy pjs on holidays in case I have to be rescued in the middle of the night and on the telly and feel reassured that at least I’ll look nice in my pyjamas!!!
Prefer nighties and they have to be 100% cotton. Can’t stand synthetics in bed. Goes for my sheets too.
