Oh spring you saucy temptress with your sunshiney days, fresh blooms and new season fashion. Everything just looks (and feels) better with a little colour and print right, so that’s why it’s my pleasure to introduce you to some fresh spring styles from a fave label of mine, Frankie + Dash. New spring dress styles have just been released and more will be added to the Frankie + Dash site over the coming weeks, I know you have been patiently waiting and the wait is now over.
When Yas from Frankie + Dash sent me the look-book of her new season styles my heart skipped a beat and I got straight on the phone to give her a Hi5 and when a few styles landed on my doorstep I knew I had to photograph them, here’s a little look at a couple of styles. Stay tuned for more.
Floaty ruffles rule
Now you have all seen me in this fab botanical green button up sleeveless Cave Dress. It has a ruffled hi lo hemline that is feminine and leg lengthening while still being modest. I have worn this dress with sneakers but it would look just at home teamed with heels. This shade of green loves to be teamed with burnished tones so add gold accessories or a natural fibre bag or tote and you are set for fun. Can you believe it was actually raining when I was taking these photos?! Oh, and blowing a gale!
Cave dress update
I love nothing more than swishing about in a spring dress and this Cave Dress’ was a fave style of mine from the first Frankie + Dash collection last year and this year it has had a little update and I love it more than ever. It has a feminine and figure flattering silhouette, is linen/viscose, has the most comfy flutter sleeve (not restrictive…YAY) plus it has pockets! oh, and I have loved ric-rac since I was a little girl so it stole my heart as soon as I saw it.
A white dress is something I can’t go past and with the multi coloured ric-rac this Cave Dress is an easy wear, add heels, sneakers or a sandal and you are set for anything. I have already worn this dress a few times and am sure it will be pulled out again and again over the warmer months. I am dreaming of wearing it in Italy but my local Henley Square did just nicely for these fun pics.
Well done Yas on your new collection plus the other addition your cute little baby boy…you have been a busy woman! I wear a size 18 in Frankie + Dash, the styles are meant to be relaxed, if you are in between sizes then size down. I can’t wait until the rest of the collection is available, stay tuned for more photos.
Til next time,
Jen x
