Well this is new, a weekly roundup of what I wore plus a few extra gems from the week. This is something I’ve been wanting to do for aaaages and now, finally I’m delivering. YAY
This is the post you can come to each week for a squizz at what I’m wearing, what I’m doing and what I’m thinking. It’s short, sharp and shiny PLUS you will find helpful clickable links to all the clothes I wore (unless it’s outa stock.
OK, let’s get started…
TRYING
This week was all about injections, I had blood tests, lip fillers and botox. Yup, I’m THAT girl and I’m cool with that. I’m going to do a more in depth post on my experience at Silk Laser Clinics but here’s the first of the before and after pics (note no makeup and scarily up close)
EATING
My first mango of the season, with an ocean view. It was freaking glorious!
ENJOYING
A bottle of red with the huz on a cheeky staycation. We booked locally, staying at Seawall Apartments on the beach in Glenelg.
READING
This week I was watching telly and found myself hooked on Jamie Oliver’s new show, 5 ingredients. It’s fast, easy and tasty, so I bought the book. Watch out for pics of my fancy pants meals. This is the perfect book for a Christmas gift to yourself or an adult child, I think I’m gonna grab another for my son.
LISTENING TO
The freakin council workers who ripped up the road near our house and the dog going crazy barking ALL day long at them, oh the joys of working from home!
DREAMING OF
A garden that I can be proud of. My goal next year is to engage a landscaper to help me create a pretty AND functional garden.
EXCITED BY
I was blown away by all the love I received from people wanting to come have fun with me in Bali. I was a little worried before opening Styling Curvy on Tour that I would be drinking Mojitos by the pool solo. But, turns out you guys sold it out in 7 minutes and looks like there will be another tour in August! What a rad (and eager) bunch you are, cheers!
THINKING ABOUT
Christmas! It will be here before we know it so I’ve started shopping. I haven’t gone crazy, just a few small gifts, a roll of wrapping paper and some cards. Have you started? Got your tree up?

What a busy week you had Jen. My weeks are so busy leading up to Christmas now. Merchandising stock and just finished 3 weeks at the new WestLakes Djs setting it up. It was a fun filled 3 weeks. I have got brave this week I bought a cold shoulder top and feel so cool and comfy in it. I’m going to buy more .
All thanks to you inspiring me daily
Much Love
xo
Jane the new David Jones at West Lakes is awesome, great job! I love the cafe, it’s nice to have one back again x
Hi Jen
Love this new weekly wrap up
Which channel is the new Jamie Oliver cooking show on please.
I have only recently started following you and I’m loving every minute
I’m at a different stage of my life than you ( I still have small children)
But you cater for everyone and I love your style.
Keep up the good work
Jennifer
Hi Jen it’s on channel 10. Thanks for joining in and welcome x
Hi Jen. I had a shittybstart to the week with some explorative surgery after a cervical cancer diagnosis but it ended with good news ?. Cancer contained in the cervix so only need to have a hysterectomy. I too love Jamie Oliver and have all his books and will be adding this new one to my collection. I love seeing what you are wearing as it gives me inspiration and I will definitely be using your CURVY25 code to grab something from Adrift ?. I look forward to seeing what this week brings and to seeing your smiling face on my social media pages.
Oh Kerry what an unsettling and scary time! I’m super pleased your results are clear though, hope you celebrated!
Sounds like a productive week Jen. My week consisted of four full days of work and one RDO so I could slot in physio & hair appointments. Weekend has been a bit lazy but you get that :)). I haven’t even thought about Christmas shopping yet. Still stressing over what to get my two kids for their birthdays at the end of this month. The older they get, the harder it gets! Oh btw, I love that gingham dress and went to have a look and sadly it’s sold out in my size. I guess you snooze, you lose.
Older kids are super hard to shop for…and expensive. A tip on the dress it’s oversized so keep that in mind x
Love this format everything in the one place especially the outfits! Thanks Jen for just being you. Totally love it.
I’m so pleased you enjoyed it x
I have only just started following you but am loving the weekly wrap up. Enjoying a hot day here. No Christmas shopping yet have to focus on an 18th and an 80th before that. Maybe everyone can have the same gift this year? Haven’t worked out what that might be…
Enjoy ALL the celebrations ahead x
This is such a great idea ! I can be inspired every week to do something new. This week I had cosmetic tattooing of my eyebrows, they are scarily dark but will fade in time. I absolutely love them but wonder why we feel the need to justify our choices ? It’s my face ! Lol. Love your work. X
Oh thats exciting Pamela, they fade quickly and then a retouch is needed. I bet you will be super happy with them x
Love the weekly wrap up – that Jamie book looks fab, but not nearly as fab as your outfits! ?
The book will be well loved. Thanks lovely x
Lips look great – happy to hear you love them. Your stay vacation looked glorious.
Must be all about food for everyone this last week. I picked up the book ‘Clever Guts Diet’ by Dr Michael Moseley on Thursday. All about gut flora and keeping your gut healthy.
I’ll have to check it out Lara
Loved reading all about your week. I too have started Christmas shopping mostly because I don’t know what I’ll be doing. It will either be more chemo or my surgery. Having tests tomorrow so keep your fingers crossed for me. I bought that green top too from adrift because I loved it on you, it should be here this week and I can’t wait. Hope your have a great week ahead
Oh Tracey chemo for Christmas sux, I hope your results were good
My parents are from the Eastern states, so we’ve been madly Spring cleaning and de cluttering the house. We also visited close family friends that have known since I was a baby.
Oh thats exciting Sarah. Enjoy your family time x
I’m loving the new Jamie Oliver show too! I popped his book on my Christmas wish list.
Hope you get it x
Hi Jenni – I recently saw a piece you wrote in “Mama Mag”, which prompted me to check out your blog. Really enjoyed looking at your styling and reading your advice, and will be checking back regularly! I noticed that you’re rocking a lot of off the shoulder looks, which look great, but I do have a (personal) question. What bra do you wear with these tops? As a curvy girl with an ample bossom, I can’t go braless, but haven’t worn a strapless bra since my 20s, when my breast were much perkier, so wouldn’t know wear to begin. Cheers
Oops, where, not wear….
I wear one from Elomi and would.suggest you get fitted to get the right one for you x
I’ve been investing in my garden this year. I engaged a gardener (did the planting selection myself after so much research) and it’s been totally worth it. It’s so nice having a garden you can be proud of!!
I can’t wait
I have just found your blog – so much inspiration! Loving the blue bohemian traders. You look fab. And I am going to have to check it out. Thank you for sharing x
Welcome ?❤
I love your lips, they look so nice and natural! And I was going to say my favourite outfit from here was the black lacey top but then I saw the pink dress and then the asymmetrical hem blue dress and now – they’re all my favourites!! OMG so much fabulousness!! 🙂
It was a good week.for outfits Adele x
