Japan I gotta say, I like you…a lot! The Huz and I are just back from twelve nights in Japan, a country that was on our ‘travel wish list’ and boy it didn’t disappoint. Can I just say right now that we were sooo unprepared for this holiday, sure we had tickets and rail passes and we had booked six nights accommodation but that was pretty much it.
We were both ridiculously busy with work right up until the morning we departed. The Huz heads a team of architects so everyone wanted everything from him last minute plus he had to delegate to his team while he was away. Heading away for holidays takes lots of work.
Meanwhile it was kinda the same situation for me here at Styling Curvy but on a smaller scale. I was racing around answering and sending emails, sending mail, picking up mail, writing blog posts, setting up newsletters and of course there was that special trip to Brisbane for work, arriving home with less than 48hours to get shit done at home.
During this time I had the dog groomed, food shopped for the son, picked up knickers from Target, caught up on work, cleaned the house exchanged some dollars for Yen and packed. Yup, I left the packing right til the last minute.
Not a perfect scenario but hey, it all worked out fine. We knew zero Japanese and had zero knowledge of the currency but the universe was playing in our favour with a four hour delay in Cairns so we headed to the Botanic gardens for the most overpriced scone and hunkered down with Google. Man, technology is great. We looked at maps, the Huz worked out what trains and transfers we needed to make to get to our hotel in Osaka and I watched YouTube and tapped out some basic Japanese phrases to get us through. See, it really didn’t matter that we were super unprepared because we got there no stress needed.
Fancy feet for Japan
Now one thing I did plan was what shoes I would pack for our time in Japan. I mean we all know my shoes were going to be Frankie4 Footwear (of course) but what to choose took a little more effort. I had planned on three styles and they had to work back with the limited wardrobe I was taking and be easy to pack. With lots of walking planned I knew these shoes had to work hard, and of course they had to do it stylishly. What I didn’t realise was just how much walking we would do some some styles worked waaaaay harder than others.
I bet you are wondering what three styles I wore and where I wore them, well read on babes because this is a whistle stop tour of where my Frankie4’s took me in Japan.
These shoes were made for walking, meet ‘NAT’
We all know my love of a sneaker so it was a no brainer a sneaker would feature (heavily) on this holiday and with all the walking we did boy am I pleased I packed my Frankie4 cream Nat’s.
We walked and walked and walked…far out we did some walking and did I mention the stairs? The subways are underground which means lots of stairs, so entering and exiting the subway normally meant a few sets of stairs and each landing comprised of 15-18 stairs and entry/exit was 2-4 landings so that meant up to 80 stairs to climb up or down…just to get into or exit the subway and then there were the extra stairs to get onto your platform. Phew…are you as exhausted as me? Don’t even get me started on the times we thought we were on the wrong platform so we ran up and down a bajillion stairs only to realise we were in fact in the right place first time round so back up and down a bajillion more stairs!!!
On average we walked anywhere from 7-12 hours each day. Sure we stopped for meals and the shorter days were the ones we were spending time on trains but our feet took a pounding taking us to ALL the places.
Look I’m not complaining because my Frankie4 Nat sneakers had me covered plus I knew all that stair climbing meant I could eat my way around Japan guilt free!
I wore them for plane travel, easy to slip off on the plane and of course comfy.
Them subway (and stairs) feels…
A day out exploring the markets (retail therapy)
A visit to the Osaka castle, sooo much walking to get there but worth it plus i was better kitted out in the shoe department than these ladies…
A day at universal studios, if you go do the Harry Potter ride and try the Butter Beer (non- alcoholic).
After a few days of pounding the pavement I really needed a break so we did it in style with high tea at the Old Rose Garden Café…look, more stairs!
A trip to Japan isn’t complete without a visit to Hiroshima Peace Park, this was such an emotional day with all the feels, you can read more HERE.
What Frankie4 Nat has to offer…
+Leather upper (so easy to keep clean)
+Leather lined footbed
+Leather lined with specifically placed foam lining to alleviate pressure on skin.
+Gusseted tongue so can be worn with or without laces. If you require a looser fit, simply cut the elastic to release the gusset (be careful not to cut the leather).
+Podiatrist & Physiotherapist designed Dual Density Polyurethane Sole. Lightweight with durable outer sole, and softer midsole.
Time for a change, meet SALLI
For evenings out I chose to swap out my Nat sneaker for my Frankie4 Salli boots in black.
Here’s what Frankie4 Salli has to offer…
+ Leather upper
+Leather lined footbeds
+Stable heel; height 45mm
+ Side zip for easy access
+Leather lined with specifically placed foam lining to alleviate pressure on skin.
+Durable rubber sole with an additional 4mm of cushioning under the footbed, total forefoot cushioning 7mm!
Oh hey… more stairs!!
Look, to be honest I thought I would wear my Salli more during the day too but after a six hour stint one night walking the streets in Dotonbori Osaka (after an 8 hour day of walking in Nat’s) my calves had other ideas. I found myself in a bit of trouble with a calf strain which saw me hobbling for an entire day so thought it wise to stick to flats for the rest of the trip. All the stairs had caught up with me! With daily stretches my calf pain eased up but I wasn’t taking any chances so that’s where Beth stepped in.
The stylish walker, meet ‘BETH’
The Frankie4 Beth is a brogue with style but also packs a punch in the comfort factor. I took her on a few outings including the subway
on the Shinkansen train
we dined out,
shopped til we dropped and even had a little run during a rain storm. She did me proud, all shiny with blue laces…yes I saw all the cool kids taking a side eye glance while she flashed her way up and down the subway.
Shop attendants told me they liked my ‘cool shoes’ (the hair got lots of attention too) and I was thankful to have a flat shoe that did double duty day and night.
Beth was the perfect pair of shoes for evenings out filled with more walking and dinner dates.
Kyoto is sooo pretty, I wish we had spent more time there but we did see some shrines and I did a little retail therapy at Terimachi Kyoto shopping lane (more like a shopping suburb)

I would pack the NAT sneaker in black and white to go to JAPAN too! It is THE number ONE place to visit on my bucket list! Your photos look amazing and I loved reading about all the places that you visited. It is like talking to a friend to find out all the tips and tricks. Thank you for taking the time to share with us all. You are quite an inspiration, I love seeing all your outfits and looks to get ideas. Thanks again Jenni.
Beth! In rose gold! I’ve experienced traveling with Frankie 4 Ellie’s and just like your Nats, they kept my feet comfortable all day for hours at a time. It’s nice when traveling, to have a dressier option when you’re going out for dinners etc. I would take Beth to the sunshine coast for the long weekend, to a girls weekend down the coast and on any overseas trip where I could show her off!
MY cream Natalie arrived yesterday and they are divine!! So I think I’d have to go for Salli – but in tan. Love me a tan shoe!!
Hello there Jen!
I would choose the Beth style because I love the pointed toe, the colour options and laces too. I think they are ultra versatile for traveling and you would feel beautiful and comfortable, day or night!
I would wear my Beth shoes on a trip to Sweden. Lots of cobblestone streets and breathtaking scenery I would so love to see and also to visit my dear Aunt and her partner there would be the trip of a lifetime!! They keep asking my husband and I to visit.
One day I hope we can 😊..
Jo
Hi Jen, the Nats in cream would be my pick! I too, have size 11 feet & struggle with sore & aching feet every time we travel. We are planning a holiday when our youngest daughter finishes her HSC in November, so the Nats sound like the perfect shoes for me 😃👟
Beth for me. I live in my Frankie’s and would love to add these to my collection! How good would they look walking the streets of Paris!
Oh my gosh, what a hard choice. It will have to be….Salli in taupe! I will take them everywhere!! They’ll definitely be getting a good run each day at school where the year 7’s like to critique my outfit, shoes and accessories! They usually give glowing reviews x
BETH in Black would have my feet moving and grooving in an upcoming family holiday to Tasmania. They would also smoothly slip into my travel case for work meetings in Sydney and Melbourne. I shall definitely put her to work!
Such a choice! We’re going to the UK soon and I think the Nat in black and white would not only fit perfectly into my planned capsule wardrobe but would also be like squishy pillows with all the walking (and chasing after our toddler Alfie) we’llbe doing! Wishing everyone good luck! xo
Omg i would love a pair of the Frankie4 cream Nats. I turn 55 in August and as I am single and currently unemployed I am going to take myself off for a 12 month gap year lol. Prob starting in Portugal. Just need my house to sell and a pair of good quality, comfy shoes that go with everything. Fingers crossed x
I think Salli black for me. And obviously, they ARE made for walkin’, so I’d be taking them everywhere! To work, to play, to the airport and to wherever that plane takes me. 👢 ✈️
I would have to choose Beth in silver as she makes a statement while being a neutral, for those evening dinner, drinks and exploring Singapore’s fabulous nightlife in August.
Hi Jen,
I would take the Beth in silver (looks soooo good!) on a trip to Adelaide to meet our newest family member, my nephew Wren. I need baby snuggles!!
The Nat in white would be in my bags for my trip to South Korea in September for sure! I have been following your Japan posts and love the way you styled the Nats and were able to wear them everywhere!
Tough descision. However I would choose Nat. I love exploit and walking . There’s only one way to to really see somewhere and that’s ground level .
I could really use her next week when I’m pounding the grounds in Glagow .
Butt then again Sri Lanka is calling me too .live is for living and nothing beats living the life 💕💕💕
I would pack Nat in Black and White because I would love to explore in comfort and style in Europe. I have lots of family and friends in Poland, Latvia, and England who I have never met. I would love to go on adventures in my Black Nat shoes discovering the different cultures ,customs, beautiful scenery and yummy foods that are on offer!
Thank you for sharing your journey to Japan it has definitely set off the need to travel bug 😊
I would totally rock (and desperately need) the Nat sneaker in cream as I’m going to Hong Kong fabric markets and JAPAN in July! I’ve loved reading your post and these would be perfect for when I spend hours in the multi-level fabric market or when I go to Tokyo Disney or even just exploring Tokyo when I’m there; they would totally be a staple in my suitcase.
Aloha Jenni 👋🏻. I would take the Nat Palms White with me to Hawaii this October, I’d totally match the gorgeous surroundings. Like you guys, we walk and walk and shop and walk and drink and walk and relax and walk and eat and drink some more and then walk home. I usually live in thongs as my feet tend to swell in the heat but I’d love to give the tried and
tested Nat’s a red hot go. Mahalo xx
The Nat in White would be packed in my bag… we would keep by feet happy walking around the old streets of Scotland and Ireland…. aaahh it will happen one day… 🤗
I would pack the NAT sneaker in Black and White and I would take it with me to Fiji in 2 weeks, as I am having huge issues with both of my feet at the moment with plantar fasciitis issues, I am gonna need some serious loving for my footsies and that’s what NAT will give me.
I would love to take the Nats in White for my 60th Birthday holiday cruise to NZnext year. I think they will be perfect for the ship and day trips.
Thankyou Jen.
I would absolutely love the Nat sneakers in black, so i can wear them to work, but also take them to Budapest next year for my 60th birthday treat, although seriously eyeing u Japan after your amazing posts.
Since I have many a sneaker, I couldn’t justify another pair until mine have seen better days, but a Salli in Tan would fill a gap in my wardrobe with completely cushy, buttery gorgeousness!
Thanks for sharing your highlights from Japan!
I would love for Nat in white to accompany me on my every day trips . From the bedroom to the bathroom, to the kitchen, to the lounge and every where in between! On special days she may even get to ride in my car…maybe to the grocery store or if she is really really good, maybe a cafe outing! If shes good to me, I will be exceptionally generous to her and if and when I get to travel overseas she will be my travel companion! Looking forward to hopefully meeting my very own Nat very soon….sending her much love and thanks 💕.
I live in my NAT on my days off work. Soo comfy! However I have been eyeing BETH in silver for a while now. I would really love a pair that I can dress up or down, an all rounder.
Hi Jen, I love being stylish & having the comfort factor, so I’d love to have the “Nat” frankie4 shoes. I’m a busy, sociable mumma & they would be a perfect fit for my wardrobe. Would love white or cream as they go with everything!!!
P.S. loved getting taken away in ur travels!!
I am off to Bali in July and would love some cream Nats to take a holiday with me! Seriously though, we plan to walk our asses off and I NEED a super comfortable pair of shoes! You have sure road tested them for me Jenni – I’m convinced they are the perfect shoe. I have two teenagers to keep up with and need all the help I can get – please!?🙏🏻💕
I would pack a pair of Nats cream for day wear, and a pair of Salli (tan ) for evening for when I go the to Gold Coast for 14 days in August,,
I am off to USA and Canada in October to celebrate my 50th birthday, and I would love a Nat in Cream to complete my outfits but more importantly all the walking we are going to do, first stop 5 nights in New York…….can’t wait.
Tough to decide but I can’t go pass a maryjane. I’d take the Judy Black to Paris. Perfect for visiting the galleries, sipping coffee and drinking champagne.
I would pick BETh in blonde. We would be stylish in all the place, but holidays on the coast would be the first port of call.
Oh definitely the Nat in black! Off to Chile in August and want a reliable shoe to take me across the longest country in the world .
I love a sneaker. They can be worn with a wide range of outfits. The Nat in cream would be my pick. With size 11 feet, I am all about comfort. And with Nat, also comes style. 😊
I’ve been tossing up between Nat in Cream (nice neutral base for everyday wear) and Beth in Metallic (fancy but functional for day and night wear). How do you choose? Ahhhh! As I’d love to take them to Ireland, I guess I’d have to take Beth, being her homeland and all…
Nats in cream for me. Seems like they are the comfort I need to do the walking I need to do
It’s a toss up between Beth in rose gold and Nat in palms!!! I like the palms because they’re fun and quirky. Think I’d go with Nat palms and wear them daily just to remind me to remember to have fun 🙂
I would love the Nat Blush FRANKIE4! A trip to Paris, London and Scotland is on the cards and these would be great to wear walking around these beautiful places I’m sure!!! I’ve just started having to wear orthotics for Plantar Facitis so have to replace all my shoes! This would be a great start!
I would pack BETH, in Silver. These would be packed for our trip to Canada and USA. Been looking for a versatile shoe, especially for evenings. The Nat is already being packed to add to the many kilometers they have already walked. Wouldn’t travel without my Frankie4’s
Oh the Beth for sure but can’t decide gold or silver. Perfect stylish comfort to wear with my Camilla Kaftan. Wear them on a trip to Lake Como how’s that managing all those cobblestone steps with a skip in my step. 💃🤸♀️🇮🇹😍
Omg yes please would like salli in Black going to New Zealand soon.. love your looks sand Frankie shoes
Nat in cream, I’m a holiday walker as well
The Beth in rose gold to hit the pavements and take me shopping in New York. She’ll be dressy and casual.
Hi Jen, thank you for this wonderful opportunity to enter this competition .
I would choose the Nat pink blush… my daughter is taking me on a River Cruise in Europe this October from Basel to Amsterdam …. we will be doing daily tours & the Nats seem like they would be the perfect choice to wear on our day trips.
Silver Beth with blue laces😜would wear them in London and Italy to liven things up!
I am Debbie but i believe my spirit animal (shoe) is Beth in shiny silver. I would wear them to work as a teacher to teach the kids a styling lesson.
Definitely Beth either silver or gold. Perfect for day or night managing all the cobblestone stairs in Bellagio ,Lake Como . They would go beautifully with my Camilla Kaftan sparkles abound. 🤸♀️🇮🇹💃
Beth in silver would be wonderful. Can’t escape work for a holiday for a while but I would conquer the working week in silver!
I love Nat in black for the Amalfi coast and Europe trek through Switzerland purely for research purposes. Looks like you had a sensational time Jen. Thanks.
Loved reading your Japan blog & following your trip on IG! I would love to take a pair of Nats in blush on my upcoming trip to Japan!
I love my cream nats & they will be coming with me as well!
So excited to head to their Melb pop up in a few weeks! Will be doing a bit of damage, thankfully I have started my new job!
Oh, how my heart yearns for a cream pair of Nats 😍❤️ I would dearly love a pair! Not only would I wear them daily to work as a full time Teacher Aide in a busy Prep class (I desperately need a pair of closed in shoes for Winter and these would be perfect and stylish of course!) but I would also pack them for our family road trip out to the Big Red Bash at Birdsville in July, for my birthday 🎉
I think I’d be packing my Jackie in white, to be super stylish and super comfy on my trip to the Greek isles. Which is differently on my bucket list, to explore all Bea areas and I would need those sneakers to support this body day after day of walking 🚶🏻♀️😉
Salli in black to keep my toes looking stylish on a long awaited trip to Adelaide to visit my elderly grandmother
About to have foot surgery so I think Nat in cream would be the perfect rehab gift. I’m hoping this surgery will allow me walk for longer and having Nat to keep me company when I can put a shoe back on and hit the road again would be oh so heavenly! Then who knows where Nat and I will go after that!
Hi Jen
What an amazing giveaway and perfect timing the Nat sneakers in cream have been on top of my wish list for months, and I’d pack them to go to Bali, we’re going in August it’s going to be our first family holiday with our 2 small kids, I’ve been doing my research (your Bali blog was a goldmine of tips), I think the Frankie 4s would be the perfect footwear for running round after our little ones and exploring the wonders of Bali with them.
I’ve been lusting after cream Nat’s for ages to take on our holidays , which usually involve hours and hours of walking. I have yet to find comfortable yet stylish walking shoes, and I highly suspect it’s going to be Nats!
Our next trip is to Vietnam and Cambodia in the June/July school holidays where undoubtedly we will spend every waking hour with our sons exploring the delights of Hoi An, Ho Chi Minh, Hanoi etc
Thanks for taking us on your Japanese trip. Looked great! I would love a cream pair of Nats a hard decision because they’re all great shoes. I would take them to New Zealand, if we ever get there, as having comfortable feet makes a huge difference.
Hi Jen, I’m glad to hear you loved Japan. I went there 32 years ago when I was pregnant with my youngest daughter, and let me tell you it looks much more westernised than it did then and we were lucky to find anyone who spoke English, what an adventure. Finding hotels and food that want a noodle or alive before swallowing was a challenge.
So the next big adventure , which will be on my own now, next year I am turning 60’and I am infatuated with all things French, I have learned the language and even if I’m not there for my actual birthday, I would like to tread the Champs Élysées in a pair of black Salli Frankie 4’s.
Thank you for the opportunity you’ve given us. To win a pair of not only comfortable but beautiful shoes, a combo I have rarely found.
Love,
Helen x
I would love to have the Nat in black to wear to work as I’ve had Plantar Facitis, Tibial Posterior Tendonitis and Achilles Tendinitis with a bone spur all at once. After 5 weeks of a moon boot I’m looking for something a bit nicer than a pair of runners 🙈. I know not as exotic as Japan but god do I need a pair!
I would love the Beth in Rose to dazzle London for my honeymoon in September. They’ll be perfect for a tour of Buckingham palace and high tea at the ritz. My podiatrist has just introduced me to Frankie4 and my feet are now singing at the end of a day 😀, whilst still looking on trend rather then granny.
JACKIE in SILVER to Sri Lanka! This to celebrate my upcoming 50th, the completion of my Interior Design Diploma and acceptance into Uni to continue my studies in interior architecture! Woohoo!
Oooooo silver Beth’s to turn heads and keep my feet comfortably fashion forward!!
Beth in the silver love them.
Hi Jen
Would love to own a pair of black/white NATS for travel plans we will be making for Europe next year.
I have cream ones and absolutely love them..
Thanks 🙏
Jen I’m off to Japan in September and with my plantar fasciitis I’m already worried about the stairs and walking! I’d definitely pack the Beth in silver to glam up my travel outfits and provide the extra support for my poor ole feet! D x
Would love a pair of the Nat black sneaker. Have a dodgy knee at the moment (surgery in a few weeks) and I’m seriously struggling to find footwear I can wear to work and on weekends that don’t aggravate my knee. The Nat looks both stylish and comfortable and will go with a large portion of my wardrobe. Really desperate for more footwear options at the moment. Plus they will be super practical for travel when I recover and get back to normal!
I would take the NAT in black/white for our 30th anniversary trip from Canada to Europe (mostly Italy) in the fall. My feet/hips/legs are always hurting when I walk a lot which prevents me from fully enjoying the moment. Thank you!
I’d love Salli in black with brown heels. I’d take them to Ireland to see friends for their 40th birthday and walk up all those magnificent hills to see the stone age rocks, then dance back down to celebrate my salli’s and my friend’s birthday drinking in Ireland in one of their iconic pubs.
I’ve never been to Ireland before neither had Frankie4s before – I can’t wait!!(
I would like the black Beth for every day wear as I have plantar fasciitis and it’s hard to get stylish shoes with proper support. Now i know Frankie4 Footwear exist I’ll start saving for a pair
Jen this would be amazing to win, my first pair of Frankie4. I would love to wi Nat in cream please. My aching soles will be forever thankful. Than you for sharing your journey,
I don’t even need to think about it as it would be Nat in cream as I have wanted them for a long time. Now with my husband thinking of going to Sydney fthey would be great for the hilly footpaths and would still look smart on
I would love a pair of Salli in Taupe and for hubby to take me to ride a Gondala in Venice 😍 with 5 young kids at home, dreams are all I have atm 😉😂 but these ankle boots look like they’d give my heel spur lots of love 😁
I would choose the Nat in white, love the ability to wear without laces, and those shoes are made for walking
I live in sneakers and have been wanting to get some Nat’s but I think I’d like the Salli’s in tan.. change it up a little, “frock up” so to speak.. my current travel wish is to head and checkout the Vivid light festival in Sydney. So I could wear the Salli’s whilst cruising the harbor..
Oh definitely NAT in white. So stylish. I’ll be hitting the stairs in Japan shortly, and will need all the comfort and style Nat brings!
My darling Beth is calling my name. I would love the Rose Gold and they would not leave my feet. I’d wear them on the bus. I swear them on the train. I’d wear them on the tram and my feet would be in shoe heaven. Be mine sweet Beth.
Oh I’m a sucker for a Rose Gold shoe…. I’d love a Beth, but I already have Beth in Metallic so maybe Salli in Taupe would complete my boot range for winter. Love my FRANKiE4’s xx
Nat in Cream, I would take them to Hawaii in August and pound the pavement in them with rolled up jeans, rock them by the pool with kaftan and shake the hips in them at a luau. I love that you walked miles in them in Japan, its not often you can wear a shoe that keeps going day after day. I can’t wait to try Frankie4 Footwear!
I’d definitely be packing the Nat in Cream! They look so comfy. I’m so envious of your trip – I’m really hoping to be able to go to overseas soon, but lots more $$ to save up before that becomes a reality! In the meantime I’ll just give them a workout at home.
Wow what a decision! After very long deliberation I have chosen Beth (Silver) for me – would love to wear these on my overseas trip planned for next April including Munich, Paris then off to a cruise from Lisbon to Rome!
For me, Nat in blush! We are heading to France for my brother’s wedding in a few months so would be perfect for all the summer walking we will also be doing in America and London!
I would have the Nat in cream. Off to Sydney soon and Melbourne later in the year, with lots of exploring on foot planned. I love to walk but arthritic feet mean I pay for it later! Isd love to see the difference Frankie4’s would make. I’d choose the cream because it goes with everything!
Oh my gosh Jen I hear you re the walking in Japan. We visited our son who was dancing in a show at Universal Studios last November and I have never, ever walked so much in my life. We literally did what you did, in Osaka, Kyoto and Tokyo. At the end of each day my feet were dead!!!! Clearly I didn’t have Frankie4Footwear to help me, oh how I wish I knew then what I know now. So my choice would be Nat in Blush Punched. I have never owned a pair of kicks before and I think I need to incorporate this style into my wardrobe and will need something super comfortable for my super special Styling Curvy Bali Tour in August. 🙂
Wow what a decision! After very long deliberation I have chosen Beth (Silver) for me – would love to wear these on my overseas trip planned for next April including Munich, Paris then off to a cruise from Lisbon to Rome! I plan to do alot of walking and want to look stylish whilst doing so!!
Oh my goodness! Your trip looked amazing! I love your blogs and social media feeds. I have been a long time follower and love your style. If I was going anywhere for a holiday, especially kangaroo island to visit family and friends, I would pack Beth in silver…they are GORGEOUS! I love them! They would work with any outfit and then I’d be able to rock them with whatever I wanted when I’m back at work or running around after my two boys. I love love love Frankie4 shoes and would love to own more. I tell everyone about Frankie4 shoes and I wear my white Nat’s nearly everyday. They are amazingly comfy and stylish! Fingers crossed!
My Nat’s in cream will be on my feet when I land in one of the most beautiful places in the world Rome Italy. Can’t wait counting down days. A pair of Ellies in tan would be nice too……
The Beth in a rose gold would be super. I wear lots of neutral colours and these would make my outfits pop! I’d wear them to Germany when I go & visit my family soon. Germans like sensible comfortable shoes so these would be well appreciated!!
Oh, I would love the Beth in Silver! Whilst I would love to pack them for a trip pounding the streets of New York, but i’m much more likely give them a workout walking to & from school each day – plus they’re dressy enough for work too!
Looking forward to the pop-up store in Melbourne…boots are also on the list🙂
I would take Beth with me on my next trip. Ellie’s are great but a bit of Beth silver bling would take me strolling the streets or indulging in a fancy night out. I’m all for comfort not speed these days and Beth is just the lady to do it with me!
There are way too many to choose from. I have been dying to get a pair of these! Ultimately, I think I would have to choose Jackie in blush. It’s such a versatile, go anywhere shoe. Where would I go? Maybe a shopping/foodie trip to Melbourne.
100% Beth in Silver! I love the way they catch the light. Definitely to school pick up every day!
Japan looks amazing! I need the Beth in Rose gold, they’re divine!!
Hubby has piked out on a 60th party this year and decided on a sunset tour at the Grand Canyon and the glitz and glamour of Las Vegas. My plan is while he is distracted at the gambling tables to slip out to the many shopping outlets I keep hearing about! Bonus for me would be wearing Nats in White so I can race around in comfort and style. We are going for two weeks and I have been following your blog for inspiration. It is difficult for me to get shoes in my size like you and have been dreaming of some Frankie4’s for ages.
Love love a pair of Nats in cream off to New york later in the year and have always wanted a comfy pair of Frankie’s shoes 😊
A pair of black Salli’s would be a dream come true to accompany me on my trip of a life time to NY with my 3 girlfriends. Gotta feel and look the goods in the big apple 🍎 !
I would pack Nats in white. I am taking the kids (the big 18 and 13 this year) to Hawaii at the end of the year , and I have a feeling there will be lots and lots of walking. Might have to look at Japan for next time after seeing and reading all about your amazing trip.
I, like you, would take the Cream Nat when I travel to Germany, Switzerland, Austria, France and South Korea later this year. It goes with everything, is obviously super comfortable and great too slip off on the long Hall flights. Like you we will be doing lots of walking with a group of students from school so I need to be able to keep up and not embarrass teenagers with’my look’.
I would pack Salli in tan for my winter holiday to Holland & Austria at Christmas to visit the inlaws and go skiing with the family. What better way to travel then in comfortable but stylish boots from Frankie 4 and show those Europeans a bit of style!
Nat in white, and black!
Today I bought the tan boots and the silver shoes!!!!
Hi Jen, I would love to wear a pair of the Salli boots and explore SA. I already have other Frankie4’s that my sister gave me for my birthday and I love them. However, a few weeks ago I had to have surgery on my calf and now I worry that they are too high. I love that the Salli is more low rise!
I would pack the nat sneaker in white, and take to explore bali. Lots to see and these would be fantastic to walk in and stop the ache in my feet
I’d pack the cream Nat to take with me to Hawaii in January. I suffer from Plantar Fascitis and work in the community services sector so am on my feet a lot, resulting in agonising pain at the end of the day. There’s so much I’d love to do in Hawaii when we visit in January, but top of the list is to climb Diamond Head. I’ve been worried how my feet would go but if I had the Nat’s to wear i’m sure it’d be a breeze!
I would love to take Beth in Rose Gold for a drive to the beautiful Adelaide Hills for a morning of strolling the streets shopping with friends. Then maybe call into a winery for a sneaky wine before heading home.
Beth in Gold. Mum and I are off to France this year and she’s the kinda woman who says ‘I read about this place in the weekend paper travel section so I cut it out and I want to see it’ so before you know it she’ll have schlepped us 36kms across Bordeaux to find said article then make us walk allll the way back. She’s nuts. She’s 61 and I struggle to keep up at 33 HAHA. She’s great 🙂 So yes…comfy shoes are going to be essential!
Ellie in Tan would be my pick because tan AND sneakers = YES! We’d be heading down to explore Tasmania! I’ve never visited Tassie before but I have a list of places down there I’d love to check out. Cradle Mountain, Port Arthur, Bruny Island and ALL the wineries, distilleries and food places. I think Ellie, myself and my camera would have a fabulous time. Wanna join me, Jenni? 😉
Hi Jen I would take a pair of Beth’s in silver they would come on a cruise ship to dress up for a dinner on formal night they look so dressy and comfy and just what you need on a moving ship no heels
You really sold me on Beth in silver Jen. I felt the pain of your sore feet. I have always had the feet from hell so walking and shopping are not my favourite pastime…hubby and I are about to take off on what I am calling our ‘Gap Year’ before we get too old.
Away for 9 months cruising and travelling in UK. Beth’s would do so much double duty on ship and ashore exploring England. I have also just bought some Hickies laces (with diamentes) and they don’t fit into the shoes i have as expected…whoops.!!! If a pair of Beths happened to come my way, the Hickies laces won’t be wasted…
I hate to be a copycat, but Beth in silver with blue laces needs to be in my suitcase for my next work trip to Auckland. I always end up racing around between clients and dinners, and this one could work in with different office dress codes too. Doesn’t hurt that Beth is also my girl’s name!
I am taking a group of students to Italy early next year and will definitely need to look stylish but will be treading those pavements every day for two weeks so also need to save my feet. I would choose the silver Beth toe tappers. Stunning and practical. 👟
Would love the Nat in cream. Super stylish and would go with everything. Would take them on my journey to Bali in November. Would be perfect for walking the uneven footpaths of beautiful Bali.
Hi Jen,
Just like her sister before her, the white Nat would allow me to walk walk walk wherever and whenever i want. My black pair showed me the whole Croatian coastline and more. The possibilities with white Nat are endless. Who knows where i could end up!
Thanks for the opportunity!
Paulina x
I’d take the Nat in white to visit Mount Gambier in winter! Chase my 3 year old as he rides the railway lands, see ghost mushrooms out in the forest, and have many a lunch out with my Mum and Dad. (And if I get the Nat’s, means I can afford the silver Beth’s sooner!)
I am travelling for 3 weeks in Asia later this year, my pick would be NAT in cream, my very arthritic feet would love them.
Thank you for sharing your beautiful holiday photos, have added Japan to my bucket list.
Mia in tan, upcoming trip to Cairns and Sydney with hubs and a 3 and 4 year old, so much exploring with kiddos who have never been on a “big holiday” before. This mumma needs to keep her cool and I’m sure a magnificent pair of frankie4s will do help me do the job perfectly. Their shoes are stunning, and so versatile, perfect foot wear for holidays as they go with everything. Pick me pick me!!
Wow Jenni what a fabulous trip to Japan! I’m inspired to follow in your footsteps , book a flight to Tokyo and explore by walking everywhere wearing cream Nats too!
I would choose Salli in black – I would wear them everywhere between work, hanging out at the local markets and running around with my twin five year olds….
Wow what a fab look holiday. I would pick Beth in Metallic. It has been 9 years and 2 children since I had a holiday. At this stage my next trip will be back to Adelaide for a week where we seem to walk everywhere well at least lots of playgrounds. But if I had to pick a holiday I’d love to check out Singapore.
Would ❤️❤️❤️ The Beth in rose gold

Hi Jeni,
Loved watching your travel adventures in Japan. Went there as a young thing. The Nat’s in Cream are on my shopping list. Love the shape, the sneaker feel and the no lace arrangement. The cream suits the limited colours I travel with. Where to go, tho? Hubby wants Japan, I was leaning to NYC. Kids are wanting anyway with Disneyland with Star Wars world. I’m not sure who the winner will be. Don’t tell them, I would love any travel adventure.
I would choose the Nat in black/white and would take it everywhere I’d be on my feet from grocery shopping to the park playing with my son. My feet and sciatica would thank me! And if I was dreaming I would like to pack them to the Maldives 🙂
Hi Jen
I would chose the lovely Salli in black. Im a Community Age Carer and often provide social outings to the elderly. I prefer to wear footwear that look smart as well as fashionable rather than wear my ‘nurse’ shoes. The Salli would be perfect to wear to work. They would be comfortable and look stylish. Your trip looked truely amazing. Thankyou for sharing it with us
Warm regards
Jill
I would love to add cream NAT to my collection. We would have a fab time in Tassie later this year enjoying the beautiful scenery and devine food and wine!
Oh you are making me so jealous. I’d Definitely take the Nat Black/white pair. I would wear them everyday! Hubby and I are a little obsessed with Japan, we have been a few times and can’t wait to go back. Not only do the Nats look good, They will go would go with everything. Sexy and casual.x
I love the Beth in the silver with contrast laces. I adore crazy shoes and can well imagine the Jaoanese going crazy for them . This will be my fourth trip to Japan and I’m doing a trail in winter ( no snow as down South) but I still want to look sharp!!
I agree re Hiroshima, we had little school girls greet us after being moved at the museum to offer us paper cranes . So sensitively done & don’t get me started in Kyoto- just go back in Autumn
I have Sophie, but would like some Nat for the “bigger” days of walking. We are touring The Baltics in August, so need something for warmer weather and also suitable if its cold and wet. Love your photos of your Japan holidays: it is on my Bucket list as well!
Hi Jen I would love Nat in white because I love comfy and cute at the same time. I would get sooooo much wear from them.
I would pick Salli in black and I would take them everywhere! Out for weekend strolls with my beautiful partner and little girl, off to work to jazz things up a bit and out for dinner! Everywhere !
Salli in Tan. Love a tan boot and the ability to dress them up or down
Hi
I just
Love following you, and your style.
I would pick the piper tan. As I am busy mum of two and need something quick an easy to slip on with jeans to nick around in. With still looking trendy
Have fun in Japan… oh and I would wear them anywhere and everywhere!
Leah
I’d love the Salli in black to walk my way around Tokyo.
Beth rose gold is so pretty & stylish ,I love that she is a bit pointier & the punched holes are wonderful … I would dress her up so she’d take me off to the ballet, to see sleeping beauty with my granddaughter, who’s 3 1/2 & can’t wait to
“ see ballerinas in the real” for the first time .. they will help me keep up with her dancing feet …
I’m loving the salli in Black, they would go from day to night and help cut down on the shoes to take…… more room for clothes!!!!!
Ooh I would love a pair of black boots, and the Salli’s look perfect!
I would love to walk around in my blonde beth’s through Disney world and Harry Potter world in Florida with my gorgeous girls and hubby before they get two old to think both me and these amazing places are cool!
Nats in white defiantly. These would be worn walking around town to assist me in my festival of 50 preparations 😁
Hi Jen, it looks as if you had a ball in Japan, and travelled looking very stylish as always.
I would love a pair of the Nat’s in white, we are looking to travel to England, Ireland and they would be perfect. Thank you, love your page.
Margie xx
I traveled to the US last year and would have died for a pair of cream Nats during my trip. I walk for hours and come home with very sore feet..
I’m such a sneaker tragic so it’s Frankie4’s Nat in white that I’d love to take to Spain. With feet that give me some serious grief the thought of spending days sightseeing on my feet is incredibly daunting, but the combination of Nat’s supportive structure, lining of leather and foam, and Dual Density Polyurethane soles gives me confidence that my Nat’s will be the cutest kicks in Catalonia AND my feet’s ultimate saviour.
Sallis for me in tan – because those boots are sexy AF!
They’d be coming on a trip to South Africa for my besties wedding !
Nat in blush would be awesome to take these tired teacher legs exploring the islands of the South Pacific in September!
Loved this post! My black Nats took me all around Nashville in April – I spent two weeks there and they were the only shoes I took! I was just looking at the Sallis last night – I realllllly would love them in black to bring on my trip to Adelaide and Melbourne (but I will be bringing my Nats too!) xx
Loved following you on your amazing Japan trip 😍
I would choose Nat in cream to take on our trip starting in Copenhagen in September. We are cruising Northern Europe & then ending up in New York, so there’s going to be a Lot of walking!
I’ve been reading a lot about “how to get an upgrade on flights” & they all say you need to “look good “….so what says style more than a pair of Frankie4 Footwear !
Hi Jen, I would love Rose Gold Beths to pound the pavement and hit the shops in New York.
Hi Jen,
What an amazing journey you had. Loved your posts, it was almost I was there with you…if only :).
Never thought about Japan as a place I would like to visit but now, thanks to you, I can not wait to go and see all of the beauty that Japan has to offer.
Would love to trace your steps in SALLi – Tan. Hopefully soon 🙂 xxx
Ooooo the cream Nats. They’ll go with nearly everything and my feet will love me😊 We are planning a 20th wedding anniversary trip in July. Not sure where yet but they would definitely be a great addition to my suitcase.
I loved seeing your pics and love that red and white skirt on you. I would love to travel to Spain as my boyfriend tells me how beautiful it is there, so this is on my bucket list. Definitely if travelling I would pack my cream Nat sneakers for all the walking I’d be doing. I would love a red pair too (but no red available at the moment). I would love to win Salli in tan as these would be great for dressing up with any colour and I could wear them with dresses or jeans and wear them to work too.
Hello, I would love a pair of Framkie 4 Cream Nats. No where flash for me, would just love them for school drop off, grocery shopping and all the stuff we do as a Mums. My dream destination is New York, just not yet with younger kids. Always good to dream. Love your style, you give me lots of inspiration x. Warm regards K
Oh Jen! Japan looks fantastic! Thanks for sharing all your updates and the gorgeous photos! I love that red and white striped skirt!
When I first started reading styling curvy back in 2015 you had these amazing tan ankle books and I wanted some so bad! I looked high and low and couldn’t find any in my budget. I’ve wanted some ever since! If I could choose I’d have to choose the Salli in Tan. I just love them! Every time I decide I’m going to splash out on a pair they’re sold out. Salli and I would kick ass all winter long!
I’m desperately saving for a pair of cream Nat’s. I’ve seen for some time now how beautifully you style them Jen. I’ve got 2 young boys- one with special needs- so Nat would travel with me to all the therapies and running around we do. And ohhhh my feet will thank me for it 😍
こんばんは! (good evening in Japanese ) ha ha
For me it would be the Jackie in blush . I took the nat on my first trip to japan last year , loved it so much I’m taking my 2 eldest children back this October . So I’d take the Jackie in blush to japan , it’s stylish and feminine and I just love it .
I would definitely take Nat in Blush with me on my bucket list trip to Canada. Nat and I would tread the streets of Vancouver, climb the slopes of Whistler and cosy up by the fire at Lake Louise! Nat’s are the numero uno in walking shoes for my big arse size 11 feet. The Best!
I think a pair of Nat’s in black/white could be just what I need for my upcoming trip to the States. From the bright lights of Vegas to the streets of Manhattan, the Nat’s would keep me and my feet very happy! Not to mention I think they’d work perfectly the the pair of Minnie Mouse ears I plan on rocking at Disneyland!
Hard to choose, but either nats in black or salli in silver. Either would be awesome for a long deserved break in Singapore with my hubby next month. Being a size 11, Frankie4’s are cushions to my soles….
I have the nat in cream and my back and feet have never been happier. Thank you for the giveaway Frankie4 and Jen! 💋
I’d totally rock the Sophie II black patent shoes. Sneakery comfort crossed with aballet shoe style. It would be the prefer in betweener for my holiday to Cairns in early July when i’m checking out local scenes etc, not mention heaven for my foot with Plantar Fasciitis!
I’d totally rock the Sophie II black patent shoes. Sneakery comfort crossed with a ballet shoe style. It would be the prefect in betweener for my holiday to Cairns in early July when I’m checking out local scenes etc, not to mention heaven sent for my right foot with Plantar Fasciitis!
Hi ! The Beth is my pick for a trip to Italy in August We are going for a wedding with a group and my feet always give me grief.
They’ll be perfect for walking the cobbled streets but can also dress up a casual outfit. L, going from day to night. I love the silver metallic, pointy toe and the coloured laces add that little bit of fun
Thanks
Sonja
Hi Jen I’d love me some Nat’s in cream. We’re travelling through 10 states of America for 8 weeks for my fiddy birthday in June. My feet will definitely be getting a work out!
I would definitely take the blonde Beth’ to wear in Italy with skirts and Summer pants. Smart and so very versatile.
Love love love! I would love to pack the Beth in Silver to travel with me to London, Greece, Ireland and Amsterdam in July! Knowing that I will be walking for hours I purchased my first pair of Frankie4 shoes – Jackie on your recommendation and I cannot wait to wear them! Fingers crossed!
The Beth in silver. I don’t believe in playing it low or dulling your sparkle. I would wear these baby everyday to sprinkle some shine into my day.
WoW what an amazing trip! I would love To take Salli in tan to any place with my partner as we always have fun together. I would happily go to the opening of an envelope with him 😊
I would choose to take Nat’s on my next journey. Both the hubster and I are really into walking everywhere too when travelling and my need for shoe comfort is high. I’d choose the Blush Punched Nat’s because I’d probably take a few blush coloured tops to wear with jeans and skirts. Did I say where we are going? Germany, the Baltic states and Russia! I can’t wait!
Now I really can’t wait for our family trip to Japan in September!! What a generous giveaway. I would love the Nat sneakers in cream or black. I have sore feet at the best of times and thinking a really comfortable and supportive walking shoe for Japan is an essential. Maybe they will help me keep up with my two young boys and energetic hubby?? Fingers crossed xx
Definitely the Nats in cream – I’ve been eyeing them off for ages. Think they’d be perfect for wandering the streets of Italy – dream trip of a lifetime planned for next year.
I’d love the Nat in cream – planning a trip to Israel next March and I love comfort! I always hope New Zealand residents can enter!!
I would love a pair of NAT’S in cream and honestly I’d love to explore more of Australia with the family in our caravan. A sneaker would be perfect for this. Thanks
OMG I’m traveling to England next month and the Nats in cream would be perfect but then again any of the shoes would be a bonus in my wardrobe.
Craving the blonde BETH to take me everywhere. I’ve got Singapore in my sights but for now they will take me to work and play. Comfy and stylish feet make a happy girl!
It would definitely be the ‘Beth’ in silver! You’ve got to love a shoe that brings it’s own ‘flash’ and ‘flair’ to the party! And these are definitely party shoes! I mean with those little beauties on your feet all you need is a slash of red lippy, can of hairspray and your work is done! Ready to go from sight seeing in the day to BEING the sight at night! These shoes are taking me all over Europe as I enjoy the warm balmy nights of Majorca Spain, dancing away, in blister free heaven to walking the ruins of Rome and Athens in awe of my shoes, whoops! I mean the artefacts! Go FRANKIE for foot, fashion and flair! Cheers Caz
Hi Jen.
Japan looked like fun. It’s on my ‘list’ too. I think I’d choose Beth in rose gold (most of my work gear is black so it would be nice for something a bit shiny!). I won’t be taking her too far for now, she would just be great for walking to and from work and still look stylish enough that I can keep her on all day at work and bit have to change out of my sneakers!
Thanks. Lani.
How good does Japan look. Def need to check it out. Love all your outfits Jen. I am turning 50 this weekend and I am heading off to Europe for a month soon where I will be taking my trusty Nats, Hilary and Libbi sandals. Can’t wait. I would love a pair of Salli’s in Black to ease my feet and the blow of returning to cold Melbs.
I love, love, love my Salli’s in tan !! But some rose gold Beths would add some pizzazz on a cruise my husband & I are taking later in the year xxx
Oh wow….I would pack the NATS in black when we go on a family holiday to Japan next month!!! I have been following you along in Japan and we have a very similar itinerary and I definitely need a pair of NATS to help me tackle all that walking. Thank you for all the inspiration I am so excited to visit Japan now.
https://www.bstore.com.au/frankie4-jackie-blush-sneakers-1
These beauties would take me walking.
Soft pastel colour to go with my white pants.
Pounding the pavements in Bali, keeping me cool with style and grace.
Definitely go with the Nat in white – I think these would be so versatile to wear for my up coming summer holiday to Sufers.
I would pack Salli in black on my trip to Iceland and Ireland this September! I have been eager to try Frankie4 since you speak so highly of them. We will be spending most of our 2 week vacation hiking and I will wear my hiking boots for that. But we will also spend the evenings hitting the towns and walking around cities. I would love a stylish shoe that still feels comfortable to bring along. Secretly hoping my partner takes me out for a fancy dinner date, and Salli would be perfect for that! Back at home Salli will join me on evenings out to concerts.
Def the Nat in white for an upcoming trip to see if they help my arthritic feet
Wow, what an amazing trip you had! Fantastic photos. I went to Japan in 1991 as an 18 year old and loved it. I still remember my visit to the Hiroshima Peace Park. Very moving, I remember crying looking at all the pictures. Even just the feel of the park.
I am going to New Zealand in September and think the Nat sneakers would be perfect. We will be doing everything from clamouring down beaches (probably in the rain in the South Island) looking at seals and penguins plus strolling the pavements and cool cafes in Wellington and Christchurch. Also, a big walking tour of Hobbiton and the craters and mud pools of Rotorua. The comfort and stylish vibes will be much appreciated- by my feet and my heart!
Happy travels 💜
Gurrrrrl! My feet have more issues than Vogue at the moment…. building a new responsible shoe collection is coooooostly!!! My new podiatrist was absolutely thrilled to see me rock up in tha Franks! I LIVE in my Ellie’s… LIVE !!
I’d LOVE to add some white Nat’s To my soles… for that classic, sporty, relaxed look. Lord knows they need saving!
I’m not gonna pretend that I’d be wearing them anywhere exciting. They’d be doing the school run, parading the grocery aisles… all the essential stuff… but I’d be looking shit hot while doing it in complete comfort. Thank you for the opportunity and your trip sounded and looked amazing. Xx
It’s a close one but I think Salli would have to be my go to this winter! In my dreams I would be travelling Europe or Canada, reality is I’ll still be home running around 4 sports on the weekends after my 2 boys!! Love them to death but by the end of each day all I want to do is collapse and put my feet up! That is with a bag of ice on my bad ankle and a glass of wine or hot tea in hand! Frankie4 Footwear may be just what the doctor (or podiatrist) ordered!
What a fantastic trip you’ve had, Japan is definately on our list of places to go, especially with our son who loves everything Japanese. We have a trip planned next year for Orlando which will be hectic and full of walking, I already have my eyes on the Nat in cream to get me through.
Would love the Nats in cream. I’ve just come back from a short holiday where we did LOADS of walking and realised I don’t look after my feet enough. we expect these tiny (or large) things to take us on wonderful journeys our entire life so we should take care of them as we would any other part of our bodies.
It was so fun following your Japan journey on your insta. Made me really want to go myself!
I love my Nats in cream (thanks again for the tip). It’s always so cool to see what you wear them with too – I am forever gathering ideas haha.
I’d love to win the Nats in blush. I think I need more pink and happy colours around!
Nat in black/white would be my style choice. My bucket list destinations include both Canada and Japan or a return trip to Turkey to visit my daughter. I’ve been Recently diagnosed with Rheumatoid arthritis so a supportive comfortable shoe is a must.
Nat in black/white would be my choice shoe to support my feet whilst traveling to my bucket list destinations; Canada and Japan or a return visit to Turkey to see my daughter.
Having been recently diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis , a comfy supportive shoe is a must.
Nat in black for me please. Love reading your posts. Giving me some great ideas for rejuvenating some clothes in my wardrobe and of course shoes would be required. Japan looked fabulous.
I love the way the Nat in cream went with so many outfits. I’m usually a dull black sneaker person, but after seeing your pictures I would love the Nat in cream and I would take them with me to Kangaroo Island when we go for the first time next month with friends who will be visiting from Sydney 😊
I’d pack the NAT Blush Punched for a weekend of catching up with family and friends.
The sassy punched finish looks classy enough for a smart lunch with friends, making sure I’m crossing a leg over my knee so that the NAT Blush pokes out for all to admire.
However I can later throw on my jacket and footy scarf, jump on a bus with my teenage boys then walk up all those stadium stairs with ease.
Plus how cool is it knowing that I will be able to wipe any alcohol spills and general public grime easily off tomorrow?
I’m all for being able to dress an item up or down and NAT Blush Punched tics that box.
Throw in that they can be worn lace free, and I’m won over.
If I could, I would take the Nat black and white with me on my dream trip to Antarctica. Whilst huge boots may be the more obvious choice for such a cold climate, I think with a good pair of socks, I think the leather shoes would do me well, my feet would stay warm, and most of all comfortable. There is no time for sore feet when there is so much to explore!
I would love a pair of the fabulously comfy looking Nats as I have very dodgy ankles & an recovering from an achillies tendon reconstruction which I’ve been told will take 12 months to heal (I’m 6 months down & counting).
I can’t wear many stylish shoes & the Nats look much nicer than my saggy joggers 😜
I would pack Beth rose gold. Many a time I have been on the Frankie 4 site finger hoovering over a pair. I even asked for money for my birthday thinking I would get a pair. I lust after them I crave them but can I justify them. Being country Vic I will not get to the Melbourne pop up store. I will keep on dreaming. Me in a pair in Europe in Palm cove in Broom out to dinner in Melbourne if I don’t win will I do it or just dream
Hi Jen
Thanks for a great post on Japan 🇯🇵 photos we awesome
If I had a chance to pack Frankie4
It would be Salli Tan. I have my nieces engagement in June. Then they would come to Paris in October
I’d love to win a pair of gorgeous Nat shoes. They look super stylish and would go with both casual and a bit dressy outfits.
Definitely Nat in blush for me to visit my bestest friend in Scotland. We haven’t seen each other in 20 years and plan to do heaps of walking from one pub to another (and dash around the odd castle looking for our very own Jamie). Plus her name is NAT so… it’s kind of an omen. Anyway, having seen your tour of Japan and how much walking you did I can see Nat’s the go for an active holiday.
Oooh, would love Nat in blush punched 😍🙏
Hello Jen, wow what a great competition. Frankie4 I follow and keep saying yep I need. So here goes. . I would love Nats / cream. I’m coming for a weekend in July into our beautiful city. Adelaide. Accomadation booked tickets for the art gallery on the go. And a dear friends Birthday lunch on the Sunday. Looking forward to some comfy, classy Nats to explore, the city.
Hi Jen
I would love a pair or cream Nats like yours. Getting ready for Greece soon and planning alot of walking. I have been dealing with Plantar for the last year !! The pits !! I look at these shoes all the time but unfortunately I scored a big fine recently for a stupid thing I did (not waiting till train Xing crossing lights were up), any how $544 fine !! So crying as id love a pair so im not wingeing to the huz that my feet hurt when trekking Greece .. Angela 🙂
FINGERS CROSSED X
Jen, I think I would be packing Salli in Taupe for a quick four day trip to Canberra and Wagga in July as our daughter’s partner willl Marching Out from Kapooka with his platoon. I think Salli will be more than capable of taking a few flights, being dressed up to attend the parade and luncheon, and then to continue to keep me warm and comfortable while we explore Canberra for a few days.
I have absolutely loved “travelling” around Alan. Is your pictures and posts xx
Oh my – autocorrect is dreadful. I meant to say, I have loved “travelling” around JAPAN through your pictures and posts…
No idea who Alan is,… how embarrassing
Jen
I would take NAT in white to Malta. Malta is where my mother was born and i have heard so many stories growing up about the special places and events that happened there. I feel like a part of me is missing until i go there…one day!
Oh I’d just love to take a Pair of cream Nats with me to Japan when u go in June / July.
I have to be able to keep up with my 16 year old daughter as we holiday alone, just us girls! We are on an adventure, showing her the ropes of travelling cheaply and meeting locals along the way. Prepping her for the joys I had as a young adult revelling. It will be harder on my feet than I remember but maybe Frankie4 can help me!!! X
Hi Jen, I never commented before but have been following for quite a while. I have laughed, cried but always enjoyed your blog/posts. You have been so inspirational for me and I have filled many unwell hours reading all the posts during my chemo/radiation, so thank you for the motivation & inspiration 😍 as a “light at the end of the tunnel” treat, we are taking our two teenage children to my husbandsbirthplace, …Scotland at the end of the year. I would love to take a pair of Elli 111,s with me. Thank you 💗
Hello Maree, congrats on finishing treatment and on winning a pair of frankie4 Nats to take you places in Scotland!!
Thank you so much Jen, I am so excited….have messaged you 💗
Thank you Frankie4’s💗
Congrats, Maree! Have a fab time with the family in Scotland 🙂
Thank you 💗
I would have to SALLi in either black or taupe and we would go wandering around Italy visiting all the beautiful places and watching all the people.
I am in love with the NAT black/white and would let these shoes take me anywhere! From work, to playgrounds with the kids, on an afternoon stroll, or to a dinner night out. I love that the NAT can take you from comfy cool casual to stylish laid back dinner date! Perfect all rounder!
The Salli in black look so versitile I love how they look in your pics with skirts! Although it’s a super tricky decision between the tan too! I would take them on adventures all over my hometown of Brisbane, I think we could have a lot of fun together! 😁
Nat in cream! Stylish, comfortable and goes with EVERYTHING! 😍
I would love the NAT in cream – you’ve sold me on them! I’m heading to the USA in August as my daughter is going to study there for 1-2 years. We hope to do some tripping around before she starts her study and I need good shoes so my 56-year-old feet can keep up with her 25-year-old feet!
Blush Nats for me please! I can see them taking me on a cruise to Alaska, being smart enough for shipboard life and comfortable enough for shore excursions! Yes, Nats…perfect!
Oh Salli. How i love thee. I check in on you daily and wonder how we would look together. I can choose no other. Me, black Salli and San Fran. A match made in heaven 🙂
I would love to wear the Salli boots in tan…love a tan boot and I’d pack them in my suitcase to take to Italy in August YAY only 2 months to go 😊😊
Japan looks so clean and pretty, glad you’re enjoying i5 .i would love the Frankie4 , Beth in rose gold to wear to Scandinavia, looks like a pretty country to do lots to of walker NGOs in pretty and comfortable shoes, thanks Jen, keep on enjoying xxx
Hello,
Thanks for this competition it’s very cool. My choice would have to be the Beth in Rose Gold – I love to add some bling to everyday outfits and I can only wear flats so these would be awesome, id love to pack them for a trip to take my folks to Singapore to enjoy a Singapore sling at Raffles which requires some quirky cool.
Good luck everyone 😊
I would take the Nat in Black to New York, the city that never sleeps so there would be lots of walking. Fab photos above, love that you catch the little details.
They are all so good, it I think for versatility and style, I would have to go with the cream Nats as they go with so many items in my wardrobe.
BTW great pics of Japan, I would love to go there!
Hoping to travel to Europe later this year, I’m turning 60 in June & 40yrs married in November…. I think the cream Nats would be perfect 👌 for sightseeing ❤️😘
I’d have Salli in tan….. boring but I’d take Salli to work. Cos you know…. may as well be stylish and comfy at the place I spend ALOT of time!!
Salli in tan sz 10 for me please!! For all the walking i’ll be doing in LA 🙌🏽
Ooh i’d add the Nat in black to my mum-in-the-morning ensemble of leggings and puffa jacket! Swapping out my old, holey, Fluro Air Max to style it up while I travel to Kindy, School and Kmart 😎
